Shift is Chris Hoy, one of the originators of the South African Psytrance unique sound. Shift has taken the trance world by storm with his thumping tunes, fat grooves, searing psychedelics, huge soundscapes and blasting bass that drove the psytrance dancing experience to the edge. Since 2002 Shift has released eight albums and numerous tracks on singles, EP's and compilations, always merging dark technoish vibes with uplifting and groovy elements and full power energy, while maintaining balance between the production and musical elements to create these different textures and flavours for the mind.
